The two major Indian TV networks have unsubscribed to TAM’s weekly ratings service, and this has been confirmed by its CEO L.V. Krishnan. The buzz is that more are likely to follow. Krishnan is taking this in his stride.

MSOs to crack the whip on LCOs on customer forms issue

They have agreed to disallow LCOs from switching MSOs; and to switch-off STBs to ensure subscribers give them their details. TRAI has set a 30 June deadline for this.

TRAI gets tough on MSOs on DAS customer forms

TRAI has issued a deadline of 30 June to submit the cable TV customer data; if the MSOs fail to meet the deadline the individual STBs would have to be switched-off.
