No cause for dissatisfaction on carriage fee: Trai chairman

Carriage fee has been regulated for the first time and several provisions are made such as 500 channels and 'must-carry', says J S Sarma.

No carriage fee on channel that MSO seeks

Trai's regulations clarify that a MSO who seeks a particular channel cannot demand carriage fee; similarly a broadcaster cannot insist for placement in a particular slot.
