'Harsha Ki Khoj' on ESPN down to 4 contestants for the final round

The fifth episode of the studio round of 'Closeup Dream Job - Harsha Ki Khoj goes on air on Thursday 3 February at 8:30 pm on ESPN. Targeted at the sports fanatic who has it in him to follow his or her passion to become an on-air presenter just like Harsha Bhogle, the talent search offers the most enviable prize - a one-year contract with ESPN as a presenter.

The four contestants for this week studio round are Nishant Majithia, Manish Batavia, Mayank Hajela and Sanjeev Desai. Nishant auditioned in Lucknow and made it as a city finalist. The second contestant Manish Batavia is a city finalist in the Mumbai auditions. Manish is an advertising trainee with O&M. Manish has very good sense of humour and presence of mind. The third contestant Mayank Hajela is an engineering graduate is a finalist from Bangalore. The final contestant Sanjeev Desai is a wildcard entry from the phone-in auditions conducted during India - Bangladesh series.Desai is the director of the Accord Group, India.

In this quarter-finals studio round the contestants have to go through three basic rounds, 'My Sportscenter', 'Interview' round and 'Jury Interview' conducted by Perizaad Zorabian, Wasim Akram and Ray Hume, Director of Cricket and Indian Production, ESPN STAR Sports.

There will be six quarterfinals and three semi finals. A winner each from the six quarterfinals advances to the semi final. In addition, another six contestants from the quarterfinals will advance to the semi finals through viewer voting. The first two semifinals will see the 6 winners of the quarterfinals compete for a place in the final (3 in each semifinal). The third semifinal will have the 6 viewer voting winners competing for the third place in the final. Three contestants, therefore, will move on to the final to compete to be the next Harsha. The all-important final will be aired live and exclusive on ESPN on 10 March.
