| Movie channel HBO has announced the movies it has
in store for viewers in September. Leading the pack on HBO Saturday
nights at 9 pm are Vin Diesel and Samuel Jackson in the action-packed
thriller movie of the month XXX. John Carpenter's Ghosts
of Mars featuring Natasha Henstridge, the thriller The Sum
of all Fears starring Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman, and the
comedy The Master Disguise are the other films on the September
roster.
In this Emmy season, the movie channel will showcase multi-award
winning HBO television productions in HBO's Emmy Winners. HBO will
present every Wednesday at 9 pm critically acclaimed movies such
as The Gathering Storm, Citizen X, Mira Nair's Hysterical
Blindness, Door To Door and the multi-award winning Live
From Baghdad.
HBO Superstar Sunday 8 pm features Steven Seagal directs and stars
in the suspense-drama On Deadly Ground. The Kung-fu legend-
Bruce Lee, freaks all with his bare fists and feet in Enter The
Dragon. The World War II-era love triangle between Cate Blanchett,
Billy Crudup and Michael Gambon is portrayed artistically in Charlotte
Gray. Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock fight their way
through the violence in the sci-fi action drama Demolition Man.
HBO original movie of the month brings Path to War on 7
September at 9 pm starring Alec Baldwin. The second season of the
witty and cutting edge 'HBO original series Sex and the City
continues this month with four new episodes that take a radically
candid look at modern day relationships with humour and style, every
Friday night, after the 9 pm movie.
