Having done films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, Revathy marked her foray into Bollywood with the film Love opposite Salman Khan. She made her directorial debut with the acclaimed Mitr- My Friend, which not only garnered critical appreciation but also garnered the national award for the lead actress – Shobana.

Her second film as a director - Phir Milenge starring Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Abhishek Bachchan, has just released and drew almost universal acclaim for the sensitivity of the film and its stellar performances.
