Star Movies premiers a comic family affairs, It Runs In The Family on 29 October at 9 pm. The movie charts out a relationship shared between three generations of men.

Directed by Fred Schepisi, the premise pictures a Gromberg family based in New York. The three men from different trying to cope with different set of problems.

The patriarch Mitchell Gromberg is played by Kirk Douglas, his son Alex is played by Michael Douglas and the third generation man, Asher is played by Cameron Douglas.

Mitchell is having difficulty coming to grip with his mortality while his son Alex tries to avoid duplicating his father's mistakes. Asher the man of third generation, a rebellious college student tries to cope with live, love, sex and rock 'n' roll in today's confused society. Three generations of a family,all struggling to get from one end of life to the other.
