The preliminary rounds and finally the time has come where the search for Britannia India’s Child Genius is nearing its mission.

The search for India's smartest kid comes closer to the finish as the programmes enters the second zonal finals-East on 10 October on Star World at 9 pm.

15 kids have made it through a gruelling process involving written tests, interviews and other similar parameters and have now successfully reached the zonal finals.

The top six participants from each of the four zonal finals will make it to the semi finals. Post which, these six finalists from each of the two semi-finals will make it to the All India Finals!, notes the media release.

The 15 participants who will be competing against each other in the East zonal finals include Shubham Prakhar (Muzaffarpur), Kumar Soumen (Jharsuguda) and Pinaki Prasun Kumar (Koraput),.

In the zonal finals, the level of competition goes up, the questions become tougher, and the experience becomes even more enriching and educative for the children who are viewing it.
