is the romantic comedy Pretty Woman. One of the top grossers
of 90's, on Wednesday, Pretty Woman is all set to recreate
its magic on TV screens, this Wednesday, 27 October 2004 at 9 pm.
This
charming fairy-tale boasts of impeccable performances from the lead
actors Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. In fact, Pretty Woman
was Julia Robert's claim to fame as it actually got her first Oscar
nomination that year, informs a company release.
An excellent romantic comedy, the movie tells story of a rich
man who hires a beautiful prostitute only to fall in love with her.
The movie opened at 1325 theatres and grossed a total box-office
earning of $463,406,268 worldwide.
A wealthy businessman (Richard Gere) engages an effervescent hooker
(Julia Roberts) to decorate his arm for a series of social events
to help seal a business deal. Money-no-object shopping sprees, gifts,
and nights in five-star hotels lead to love, complications and heartbreak,
and finally back to the arms of her generous john, adds the release.
