Ten Sports will be airing the Australian GP live on Sunday 17 October
from 7:30 am onwards. Australia could well be the venue where world
champion Valentino Rossi could create Moto GP history by becoming
only the second rider to win back-to-back world titles riding bikes
of different manufacturers.
Rossi moved to Yamaha from Honda for the current season while Eddie
Lawson had moved to Honda from Yamaha to win his 1988 and 1989 world
titles respectively, informed an official release.
With just two races to go Rossi stands tall with 254 points followed
by Sete Gibernau with 224 points. The final race of the season will
take place on 31 October at the Comunitat Valenciana circuit.
The channel will also air WWE specials on 17 October at 3 pm. In
this episode, the rivalry continues on the ring as the month long
record-breaking show Smackdown reaches its climax. The three-hour
special has been aptly titled No Mercy.
