An icon for the young India enterpreneurs, Reliance Industries
managing director Anil Ambani is a MBA from Wharton School of Business,
University of Pennsylvania.
NDTV 24X7 this weekend will walk the walk and talk the talk with
Ambani in the Bay of Bengal onboard the gas rig Discoverer
534 on 27 March at 7:30 pm.
Owned by Reliance, the gas rig was the largest gas find in the
world in the year 2002, says a company release.
Indian Express CEO and editor-in-chief, Shekhar Gupta will be chatting
exclusively with the business tycoon, who is also a known fitness
freak.
Following his fathers footsteps, Anil Ambani has taken Reliance,
the largest non-state company in India, into new territory. He along
with his brother, Mukesh Ambani, reinvented India's most powerful
business enterprise. The duo has managed to take the company beyond
its textile production and petrochemicals base into lucrative ventures
in power generation, oil exploration and mobile phone services.
