The movie stars Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpai, Sanjay Suri, Sandali Sinha and Priyanshu Chatterjee in lead roles. The story of the film revolves around the principle characters, Puro played by Matondkar who is a victim of circumstances during the Partition period, Rashid (Bajpai) who has committed an unpardonable crime, Ramchand played by Suri, Laajo (Sandali) and Trilok (Priyanshu), says a press release.

The music for the movie has been composed by Uttam Singh.
