The
first episodes, airing at 4 pm on 20 June, will feature legendary
Kishore Kumar songs.
Contemporary vocalists like Abhijeet, Shaan, Sunidhi and Shanker
Mahadevan will try to create the magic of 'Kishoreda' for the huge
loyal fan following.
The episode will feature melodies like 'Meri Bheeghi Bheeghi Si'
(Anamika), 'Sama Hai Suhana' (Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani),
'Abhi Na Jaao Chood Kar' (Hum Dono), 'Dil Ka Bhanwar' (Tere
Ghar Ke Samane) and many more, says an official press release.
Another singer whose evergreen Hindi film song can get an entire
generation still wanting more is Mohammed Rafi. His voice appealed
to both young and old. Besides Kishore Kumar, the episode will also
feature songs by Rafi.
Apart from the melodious songs, the show will also include trivia
on both singers, giving viewers some very special and never-heard-before
stories about the two legends, adds the release.
The second episode, to be aired on 27 June at 4 pm, will showcase
master music director duo, the late Sachin Dev Burman and his son
late Rahul Dev Burman. The songs of these music maestros will be
rendered by singers like Vinod Rathod, Sadhana Sargam and Sudesh
Bhonsale. Sunidhi Chauhan will also be singing some of the delightful
compositions of R D Burman sung by Asha Bhonsale. Babul Supriyo,
who has been a big fan of late Kishore Kumar, will recreate the
magic of Kishoreda in Dev Anands style with the lilting 'Shokhiyon
Mein Ghola Jaaye' from Prem Pujari.
