Brazil
will face South American World Cup qualifying group leaders and
bitter rivals Argentina tomorrow in Belo Horizonte, the Brazilian
state of Minas Gerais, seeking to regain their position at the top.
The
clash between the two former champions, with seven World Cup wins
between themselves, promises to be a classic. The live and exclusive
action of the event can be seen on ten sports on Thursday 3 June
at 5.55 am IST and the repeats will be aired at 14.00 pm and 23.30
pm, says a press release.
The
five-time World champions Brazil, who have drawn their last three
games are in the third position in the 10-team group. The favourite
team is playing without the injured player Ronaldinho.
Argentina,
on the other hand, leads the South American qualifying race for
a berth in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, followed by Paraguay and
Brazil. Four teams will qualify for the World Cup. Argentina leads
the standings with 11 points from five matches. Paraguay is second
on 10 points and Brazil third on nine.
In
the coming months, Ten Sports has line-up of football programming
with the much-awaited Copa America competition in July and
all the action from the South American World Cup Qualifiers upto
2006, including all Brazil and Argentina matches.
