Apollo Group's Reddy goes 'Back To The Floor' on BBC World

This week on BBC World’s new Back To The Floor series, viewers can watch the founder and chairman of Apollo Group Dr Pratap Reddy take on the duties of an intern doctor in his hospital. The show airs on 18 January at 11 am.

The seven part series featuring the who’s who of corporate India is in its third episode. Dr Reddy steps into the shoes of a junior resident doctor and tries his hand at surgery after almost a decade. He tries to understand the problems in the emergency ward, and the challenges that his nurses face on an almost daily basis by working hands on alongside them, in the oldest hospital at Chennai. For two days, his life becomes a roller coaster of highs and lows, just as it is for every doctor in the Apollo Group.

The show commenced airing on 4 Januaryand concludes on 15 February 2004. It is sponsored by Samsung mobile phones and is produced by UTV.
