Star News will telecast a special on the 2004 Economic Times Awards
for Corporate Excellence on 5 December at 8 pm. Star News has been
telecasting the awards since the last two years.
Each
of the award winners - individual or company - will be profiled
by Star News. Star News will also go behind-the-scenes to focus
on the inspirations and personas of Azim Premji (Business Leader
of the Year) and Rahul Bajaj (Lifetime Achievement Award), where
other top CEOs and business leaders will offer opinions on the significance
of their achievements in the context of developing India as an economic
powerhouse, informs a company release.
The
2004 ET awards went to: Azim Premji (Business Leader of the Year);
Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (Businesswoman of the Year); Praveen Kadle of
Tata Motors (Company of the Year); Sunil Mittal of Bharti Tele-Ventures
(Emerging Company of the Year), CK Ranganathan (Entrepreneur of
the Year); Deepak Parekh (Corporate citizen of the Year); Rahul
Bajaj (Lifetime Achievement Award) and management guru CK Prahalad
(Global Indian).
