Under its programme block Saturday Nights HBO will air The Sweetest Thing on 4 December at 9 pm.

Directed by Roger Kumble the film shows how far will one girl go for love. The movie stars Cameron Diaz There's Something About Mary, Christina Applegate and Thomas Jane.

Diaz plays Christina Walters. While looking for Mr. Right in a bar, Christina bumps into the charmingly handsome Peter (Thomas Jane) a real estate agent. Forgetting to get his number, her best friend Courtney (Applegate) suggests a love-seeking road trip to find him at his brother’s wedding. Along the way, the girls encounter many roadblocks in the path of love. But nothing’s stopping Christina from picking her lucky number – the one.
