According to the release issued, Togadia claimed that he could becomethe prime minister if he tried. During the show Togadia threatened Rajat Sharma that he would file a criminal case against him, saying, "You are accusing me of murder -I will file a criminal case against you." He accused Rajat Sharma of being a secularist, "You are defending Jehadis - you are advocating the case of secularists."

Commenting on the re-launch of the programme, Rajat Sharma said, "Aap ki Adalat was never merely an interview programme. It has always been a mission, a mission to expose the truth from behind the closed doors in the corridors of power.
