Star Movies is premiering a hair rising, spine chilling thriller- Phone Booth on 21 August at 9 pm in an exclusive Saturday premiere band.

Starring Colin Farrell Keifer Sutherland, Katie Holmes, Radha Mitchell and Forest Whitaker, the suspenseful story depicts Stu Sheppard (Colin Farrell) trapped in a phone booth.

Directed by Joel Schumacher, Phone Booth's story revolves around Stu who juggles a busy career, a wife and a mistress. One day as Stu steps into a phone booth on a busy New York Street to make a call to his girlfriend Pamela (Katie Holmes), so that his wife Kelly (Radha Mitchell) would not be able to trace the phone call. But no sooner does he end the phone call, the phone begins to ring. Out of curiosity, Stu picks it up and a stranger on the other end (Kiefer Sutherland) informs him that if he hangs up the phone, he'll be shot, says a press release.

The red dot of an infrared riflescope convinces Stu that the caller means business, and when another man tries to make his way into the booth, he is shot mere inches from Stu, calling the attention of the police.

Captain Ramey (Forest Whitaker) naturally assumes that Stu was the killer, as Stu struggles to find a way to convince the police of what's happening before more lives are lost.
