The dusky brown-eyed Bengali beauty Rani Mukherjee would be talking
about her ups and downs, her highs and lows, her passions and weaknesses
with Vir Sanghvi on Star World's Cover Story on 15 August
at 10 pm.
She hit big time with blockbusters like Ghulam and Kuch
Kuch Hota Hai. Success, however, did not come to her
on a silver platter. She had her share of hiccups before she could
sail her way to calmer waters.
Right now she is considered the reigning queen of Bollywood. All
the top-notch directors are now making a beeline to sign her. The
actress has signed all the big banners with directors and producers
like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Aamir Khan, to name
a few. With three consecutive hits , Saathiya, Chalte
Chalte and Hum Tum in a row, she has gained a stronghold
and consolidated her no.1 position in the film industry. Precocious
yet innocently oblivious of it, it is her unassuming self that draw
friends and well- wishers to her.
