Zee News lines up thriller fare for weekend

Zee News is at it again. Seems like weekend at the news channel is about nerve wrecking crime and investigative stories. In its special investigative report segment, Inside Story, Pehal, Crime File and Zee Follow Up, the channel is all set to keep its viewers update on latest.

The weekend opens with Crime File, which investigates on a mind-boggling story of a lady, who has sacrificed, rather killed her three daughters to give birth to her son.To be aired on Saturday 3 April at 10:30 pm, this show also features another story based on a Delhi murder case where a lady with the help of her body builder boyfriend killed her husband.

Next in Pehal, to be telecasted on Sunday 4 April at 3:45 pm, is stoey about extraordinary efforts of a lady, Amarjit Dhillon of Chandigarh, who dared to cremate unclaimed bodies herself and made a mark in the cruel men's world.

The Inside Story team on the other hand, will investigate the modus operandi of bribe taken by police on highways from the general public. By using a spy cam, Zee News segment revealed how the senior officials of police department are also involved in the bribery issue. The show will be aired on Sunday 4 April at 9:30 pm.

In the last programme for weekend, Zee Follow Up, which looks back on the case of 'Punjab Public service commission', the channel will check on the status chairman Ravindra Pal Singh Sidhu after two years. The action can be seen on Saturday 27 March at 7:30 pm and will be repeated on Friday 2 April at 12:30 pm.
