| After Style, Miditech's latest production for
Star World is a curtain raiser on the channel's upcoming quiz show
India's Child Genius. The curtain raiser consists of four shows
of half an hour duration each, to be aired on consecutive Sundays
at prime time starting from 18 April at 9 p.m.
The whole process of elimination and selection of 320 contestants
who will appear for the actual quiz, from around 16 000 applicants
across India, is done by esteemed jury members.
With quiz master Siddharth Basu providing an insight into the entire
selection process, the curtain raiser will unfold the behind-the-scene
happenings, and has the contestants' classmates, teachers and parents
keep guessing about the final winner. Also, contestants are seen
preparing for the great contest with positive energy, encouragement
and support from family and school.
The hunt begins from up north New Delhi and Chandigarh, and follows
to down south in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Hosur and even to the
West coast covering Jodhpur, Mumbai and Pune to the far east including
Kolkata, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneshwar.
The entire selection process and the quiz series is being handled
and produced by Siddharth Basu's Synergy India Pvt Ltd.
