'Vir Ke Teer' zeroes in on political assassinations

MUMBAI: Political assassinations and murders in independent India will be the locus of discussion on Star News' Vir Ke Teer hosted by Vir Sanghvi in its next episode which will be aired on 7 September.

For a country that won its independence by a largely nonviolent struggle, India's political life since then has been marked by numerous political assassinations.

Apart from talking about latest assassinations, like those of Haren Pandya and Abdul Ghani Lone, the episode will also take the viewer into the past with assassinations of Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sant Harchand Singh Longowal.

The show will also cover some well known mysterious killings which have never been solved like - Rustom Sohrab Nagarwala, Shyama Prasad Mukherji and Lalit Narain Mishra.

Vir Ke Teer, the one hour weekly show brings to the audience, unique insights into people and current events. It probes into the root cause of various social and political issues and includes views and analyses by those who have witnessed the events or have been key players providing an insight into the issue.
