Pradeep Sharma and sub-inspector Daya Nayak, will appear live on NDTV
India in its show Chalte Chalte, Thursday at 4:30 pm. A repeat
telecast is scheduled at 11:30 pm.
Mumbai, which was once the hub for gangsters like Dawood Ibrahim
and Chhota Rajan, is relatively free from the underworld today thanks
to the city's police.
However, little is know about these cops' lives - how they cope
up with the stress of chasing 'wanted criminals' on a day-to-day
basis. Inspector Sharma has to his credit the heads of 82 wanted
men.
In Chalte Chalte they will speak about their first encounter,
their fears, how they feel when they press the trigger, whether
they live under constant threat from the gangsters and other personal
issues.
