The event to be held in Ludhiana is being organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary freedom fighter – Bhagat Singh and will feature a high voltage line up of Punjabi Pop stars.

Leading the pack will be Punjabi pop superstar Malkit Singh whose song Gud Naal Ishq Mittha became an international rage a couple of years ago. The star is especially being flown in from London to be a part of this event. Along with Malkit; Surjit Bindrakhiya, Shankar Sahney, Amrit Saab, Gulzar Lahoria, Nachhater Gill and Gurkirpal Surapuri will also enthrall audiences. The show will be anchored by Satinder Satti.

While ETC Channel Punjabi and Alpha TV Punjabi have organised and telecast LIVE events in the past with huge success, this is the first time that a national player like etc Music is joining the fray of Live event broadcast. Explaining the rationale Programming VP Rajiee M Shinde says, “Punjabi Pop is no longer a regional craze but a national and even international phenomenon as demonstrated recently by the success of Punjabi tracks in Bollywood films. Hence it was time that etc, the most popular music channel in the country also becomes a part of this phenomenon.”

Hectic preparations are on at the venue – South City, Ludhiana to organise this mammoth event which will have a live audience of more than 15,000 people at the venue and a television audience of millions not just in Punjab and all over the country but in 112 different countries of the world.
