Suneil Shetty is etc's ‘Star Giraftaar’

etc takes popular and top film artistes into the viewer’s home every month as the Star Giraftaar. For this month, etc went to Film City during the shooting of actor Suneil Shetty's first home production Khel to bring him closer to his fans.

Star Giraftaar is a special slot on etc wherein a famous and established Bollywood star appears on the channel to allow the viewers a peek in their professional life through a show Chit Chaat. Viewers’ can catch Shetty talking about himself and his growth as an artiste and producer on etc on 24 September at 7.30 pm in Chit Chaat.

Through capsule, Its My Pasand, the star will also unfolds some unknown aspects of his personal life. He says, “I decided that Khel will be debut film for my own production company because of the script. It is an intense love story with crime angle. The story excited me”.

According to Shetty the high point of the film is Sunny Deol. “As a producer it was important for me that each and every artiste suited the role. I am not into this business as one time wonder. I am here to stay as a producer. I want people to appreciate the film and my distributors to make profit.”

Khel has seven new entrants in different fields, but as a good producer Shetty has ensured maximum cooperation to extract best results. The film is unique in its treatment. It has Ajay Jadeja but it has no cricket. It has Sunny Deol but it has no raw animal strength show.

It has pretty Celina Jaitley but she has a good role where she also gets to exhibit her talent. “In Khel, money is not important to me. It is the acceptance by audience that has more value. I have my fingers crossed,” says Shetty.
