CNN's chat show Talk Asia will feature an in-depth interview with basketball player Yao Ming. Yao is the first-ever number one overall draft pick to come from an international basketball league. Nicknamed “The Little Giant,” Yao talks to host Lorraine Hahn about his childhood dreams, interests, and the significant role his family has played in his career.

Yao’s fans adore him not only for his outstanding size and agility, but also for an immense heart. When talking about the pressure to perform, he says: “The pressures come from the expectations. However, I do see the expectations as support. I just keep telling myself that when I’m on the court, I’m a basketball player, and not to think too much about anything else. I've learned about two things during the last season: First, adjusting to the environment, how to face the environment I’m in. The other thing I learned was competitiveness. The competition there is just so fierce. And what it does is it reminds me that I have to work really hard every day from morning to night.”
