 The
suspense is finally out. In the forthcoming episode of one of Sony's
top shows Devi, the identity of the mystery woman will be finally
out. The women, who came to the household as Gayatri finally reveals
her real identity and transforms into her true form as a Goddess,
on Friday, 3 October 2003, at 9:00 pm.
For those clued into the show, the protagonist Gayatri is murdered
by her husband Vikram. But he is dumbfounded when she returns in
flesh and blood to haunt him. He relentlessly tries to unravel the
identity of this woman who claims to be his wife, to prove that
she is an imposter. Unaware of the truth, he is in for shock when
at the praying and chanting during the Jagrata, the Goddess, stirred
by the family's devotion, appears in all her divinity and splendour.
Unmoved by the devotional frenzy around him, Vikram follows the
mystery woman, as she leaves the Jagrata and mysteriously disappears
behind a tree and is awe struck when she transforms into Goddess
Durga herself, while the man Friday Bhola transforms into the loyal
tiger of the Goddess Durga.
