BBC World's 'Click Online' examines the future of Internet

Next week BBC's Click Online team looks at the future of the Internet. The number of people and devices now online has exploded in the last few years, and there may now not be enough addresses foi- us all.

lan Hardy, BBC's North American correspondent, looks at what we'll have to do to make more room on our systems. He says, "The new system can give an address to every single grain of sand in the world".

Plus there's an interview with the author of Interface Design, Bruce 'Tog' Tognazzini, an expert in the fields of usability and user-interface design - in other words, making things easy to use. He talks about web pages and how to use them.

Too many cables in your house? Try going wireless - Click Online investigates up and coming technology that will conceal the mess in the modem home. Stephen Cole and the team also bring you all the tech news and websites to date, and looks at viewer feedback.
