The fourth programme in the current series of BBC World's Question
Time Pakistan will be aired on Friday 30 May at 10:00 pm.
Produced by Karachi-based Telebiz, the show will be hosted by well
known journalist and barrister, Mahreen Khan.
The panelists for the show include: Dr. Khalid Ranjha, Aitzaz Ahsan,
Imran Khan and Hussain Haroon.
Dr. Khalid Ranjha, Senator, Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) has
served as a high court judge and twice as advocate general Punjab.
He was appointed the federal minister for law and parliamentary
affairs in General Musharraf's cabinet and is the author of much
of the legal framework order, informs an official release.
Aitzaz Ahsan, senior leader of Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians,
is a renowned lawyer and member of the government-opposition committee
on the Legal Framework Order.
Imran Khan, the former cricket captain turned politician is now
chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf, the party he founded.
Hussain Haroon, formerly speaker of the provincial assembly in
Sind, sits on the board of several educational institutes, sports
associations and charity organisations. He also has the distinction
of being the youngest President of the Sind Club.
According to the release, a studio audience, selected from a cross
section of Pakistani society, will put their questions directly
to the panel.
