The musical event etc Naach Meri Jaan on 24 May at 9 pm promises to be a real live wire dhamaka.

The two hour extravaganza on etc will feature the king of rap and remixes Bali Brahmbhatt, the funny man of music and parody master Devang Patel and the current live wire of the music video Shaifali Zariwala. They will stand atop a 12 feet high stage erected on the rocks in Wetlanticat, Water Kingdom and belt out their popular numbers and dance. The event was organised by Protons Events Management.

Though re-mix is his main forte today music lovers remember Bali for his Patel Rap – a new kind of rap music that he introduced to the Indian music lovers. Patel Rap was a combination of two things. One part of the song is sung in British accent, while the other part was the imitation of Gujarati Patel community based in London. In between are many tongue-twisters. Bollywood film directors have used Bali’s rap skill. From merely a rap voice, Bali has evolved as a full-fledged playback singer with songs like Amma dekh tera munda bigda jaye and most recent Usne bola kem che. Of late, Bali has emerged as a film music composer with Pyar Zindagi Hai and Sai Baba.
