West Indies may have made a hasty exit from the cricket World Cup but that is not stopping Ten Sports from showcasing the team's master blaster Brian Lara under its programme band Legends.

The channel has announced that throughout this month it will showcase Lara, arguably the best left handed batsman at the moment. Through a one hour special each week on Friday at 9 pm cricket buffs can feast on Lara's best innings starting with the West Indies' tour to Sri Lanka in 2001; where Lara stood firm against the roaring Sri Lankan tigers while all the West Indian batsmen struggled to hold their ground. Then he launched a relentless assault on Pakistan's attack at Sharjah.

The programme would also provide glimpses into the mastery of Lara as he single-handedly took on the mighty Australians amongst others.
