etc shines the spotlight on an established Bollywood star Jimmy Shergil in Star Giraftaar this month.

On Star Giraftaar, viewers get a peek into the professional life of the stars who also unfold some unknown aspects of their personal life in the autobiographical show.

Shergil talks about his personality, childhood as well as what his dreams consist of, on 21 March at 8 pm with a repeat on 22 March at 1.30 pm. Later on, he chats with anchor Tarana on 26 March at 7:30 pm. The show repeats on 27 March at 1.30 pm.

Shergil's debut was Maachis. Thereafter, he appeared in films like Mohabbatein. The musical Dil Vil Pyar Vyar is his recent release while Yeh Jo Mohabbat Hai saw him play the character of the ventriloquist with shades of grey for the first time.

He will play the good guy next door character in Haasil. He says, “Haasil is a very intense film. After watching its affect will remain for at least one week. It will force people to think.”

In the shows, he talks about his childhood in Lucknow and how he used to bunk college to enjoy life with friends. He also dwells on his relationship with his friends and his family, their cooperation and inspiration in his development as a person and as an artiste.
