BBC World will feature Pakistani novelist Kamila Shamsie in the second programme from the new BBC World six-part series of Face to Face Pakistan.

The new weekly show profiles celebrities and makes an attempt to reveal the other side thus far hidden from the public view. Tomorrow the infotainment channel will air Mahvesh Murad's rendevouz with the renowned Pakistani novelist Kamila Shamsie.

The tete-e-tete at 10 pm will showcase various facets of this novelist who played a key role in bringing South Asian writing in English to the attention of the world. She is the winner of a number of awards and considered a promising talent both in and outside Pakistan. She will speak about her writing, her success, her relationship with Pakistan and her family.
