ETC Networks flagship channel etc has lined up some interesting personalities for it's viewers.

“God Bless you for another 40 years and thanks for all that you do to help the film industry,” tells suave and dashing Shahrukh Khan to his favourite music channel etc on its Bollywood centric show On Air. A press release says that this is first appearance on the channel after his surgery.

Viewers can catch Shahrukh Khan talking to his fans in On Air on Thursday, 12 June 2003 at 7.30 pm. (the repeat telecast is on Friday at 1 pm and Monday at 8 pm). A release says that Khan appears in the show in the dual role of hero and producer of his film Chalte Chalte. Speaking about his co-star Rani Mukerjee, Khan is quoted as saying:“Rani is my favorite junior and we have worked together before also. I keep scolding her. She has done much better than her previous films and she is the high point of Chalte Chalte.”

About his own character in the film, Khan says: “My character is not original because my name is Raj and in all my films I am either Raj or Rahul. Here I am basically a middle class man who is deeply in love and wants to start a family”.

In the programme On Air Khan talks about his previous films as producer; his success and failures; his health and surgery; his family and friends at length. He talks his heart out and reachs the fans, friends and foes alike. “I don’t expect from my films any more…….USP of the film Chalte Chalte is that it has no story but it is everybody’s story…………. It is a light hearted film with Aziz Mirza type of humor….. As of today I can not do all that I used to do before my operation….. I am spiritual person and I believe in oneness of God and Allah but I am not a fanatic.”

Closely following the Shahrukh Khan show is the "hungaama" of the grand finale of the eight events that the music channel had been organising and airing since 26 April. In its eighth and final event etc is showcasing four singers from diverse genre of singing. This episode of Naach Meri Jaan will be telecast on etc on Saturday, 14 June 2003 at 9.00 pm.

Jaspinder Narula is entertaining the viewers with her raunchy numbers and Micky Narula has put life in the show with his live wire happening songs.

Devang Patel, the parody specialist, has added musical jest and fun. Meghna Naidu, Kaliyon Ka Chaman fame girl, adds the extra spark of life to this lively show.

The show is anchored by Suresh Pillai Menon, who keeps the four performers in humorous harmony.

This eight series event has showcased singers like Remo, Bombay Vikings, Nitin Bali, Vinod Rathod, Suhasini, Vaishali, Sukhdev, Xenia Ali and Micky Narula.
