Jazzy B, the king of Punjabi Pop who claims to be the heartthrob of Punjabis all over the world, will be performing 'live' on television for the first time. This is the second time Alpha TV Punjabi will telecast a musical show 'live' for its audience in India and abroad.

Zee TV's Punjabi channel Alpha TV Punjabi will air the 'live' telecast of the mega musical show Sur Punjabi in Amritsar on 30 June from 7 pm onwards.

According to a press release, Sur Punjabi, the first of its kind musical event in the city of Amritsar will be beamed to 112 different countries of the world. The show will be hosted by Sattinder Satti who has become a household name in Punjab after the success of her weekly show Excuse Me Please.

The release also informs that Jazzy B will be joined on stage by other Punjabi pop stars. The array of performers include: Shankar Sahney, Bhupi, Ravinder Grewal, Madan Maddi, Amrinder Gill, Pammi Bai and Rani Randeep.

The channel had held its last musical Shava Shava in May. The channel claims to have got its highest ever channel share during the telecast of the show - Alpha Punjabi’s share among Punjabi channel touched 91 per cent on 9 May.
