BBC's 'Fast Track' features how Taj being preserved

This week, Fast Track travels to India for the first of two special programmes from that country. As the number of visitors grows each year, Gwenan Edwards investigates the measures being undertaken to preserve India's most famous tourist attraction - The Taj Mahal.

Built in the 17th century, the Taj Mahal is a Unesco World Heritage Site, but care is needed to make sure that future generations will be able to enjoy it. Fast Track finds out what is being done.

Fast Track is BBC World's weekly global round-up of travel news for both the leisure and business sectors. Presented by Gwenan Edwards, the programme features reports from around the world, interviews with leading players within the industry, analysis of current trends in travel and tips for people on the move.

The show airs Tuesday 3 June at 1 am, 7 pm, Wednesday 4 June at 10 pm, Thursday 5 June at 1 pm.
