This week, Fast Track travels to India for the first of
two special programmes from that country. As the number of visitors
grows each year, Gwenan Edwards investigates the measures being
undertaken to preserve India's most famous tourist attraction -
The Taj Mahal.
Built in the 17th century, the Taj Mahal is a Unesco World Heritage
Site, but care is needed to make sure that future generations will
be able to enjoy it. Fast Track finds out what is being done.
Fast Track is BBC World's weekly global round-up of travel
news for both the leisure and business sectors. Presented by Gwenan
Edwards, the programme features reports from around the world, interviews
with leading players within the industry, analysis of current trends
in travel and tips for people on the move.
The show airs Tuesday 3 June at 1 am, 7 pm, Wednesday 4 June at
10 pm, Thursday 5 June at 1 pm.
