CNN presenter Richard Quest wrestles with verbs and pronouns this month as CNN Business Traveller travels to Frankfurt to see how he has fared after six months of intensive German lessons.

On the show Quest is put on the spot to conduct an interview in German and explore the importance of speaking a foreign language for communication, understanding and trust in business relationships.

CNN Business Traveller also looks at the "dos and don’ts" of body language and explores whether actions truly do speak louder than words. Through an analysis of the most basic gestures, the half-hour programme reveals how one wrong move can provoke mistrust, confusion or even offence.

To calm any frayed linguistic nerves, the programme goes on the road with cellist Yo-Yo Ma, as he tunes in to the most universal of languages, music. Playing to audiences throughout the world, Yo-Yo Ma has been able to study the musical traditions of the cultures he has been exposed to. If anxieties still linger and the pressing need is to unwind rather than polish your language skills, CNN Business Traveller also looks at how best to relax and de-stress on a silent retreat.
