MAX launches 10-day 'Action Dhamaka' film festival

MAX, the premium films and events channel, has launched "Action Dhamaka", a 10-day festival of action-packed movies starting 21 July 2003. The movies will be aired between Monday-Friday at 5 pm.

A press release says that the "Action Dhamaka" festival on MAX will showcase films such as Karan Arjun (21 July), Vaastav (22 July), Tejaswini (23 July), Nayak (24 July), Khoon Bari Maang (25 July), Gang (World TV premiere on 26 July), Gumraha (29 July), Ghaat (30 July), Bichchoo (31 July) and Shiva (1 August).

MAX business head and executive vice president Rajat Jain was quoted as saying: "It has been our constant endeavour to offer the best movie entertainers to our viewers; and 'Action Dhamaka' is yet another step in the same continuous endeavour. All the movies we have lined up are superb 'masala' entertainment for entire families; and completely keeping with MAX' positioning of 'Deewana Bana De'. I am sure that our viewers will enjoy this two-week, ten day festival."
