The episode of ESS' new show Harsha Unplugged on 16 July at 9 pm on Star Sports; will feature Indian racing ace Narain Karthikeyan.

The half hour show focusses on getting national and international sports men and women closer to the Indian sports fan. Karthikeyan talks about his induction into racing and the people who helped him grow in his career and expect him to be a Formula-1 driver some day.

Asked about the type of racing driver he is, Karthikeyan said, "Racing drivers are of two kinds- one, the more flamboyant kind and one that just does his job on the circuit. I like to do a good job and that’s how I am." On his father being the driving force, he said,"Well, he did push me into this direction for sure. When I said I wanted to be a racing driver they (my parents) had no objection- it was very nice of them. (But) they were very strict, they didn’t want me to drive till I was 18 years old."
