Darjeeling's Taposh Biswas has won ESPN Star Sports' game show
Super Selector for December with a Super Score of 6142 points.
Biswas will travel to New Zealand to watch the sixth and seventh
one-day matches to be played between India and New Zealand. He will
also get an opportunity to share the commentary box with Sunil Gavaskar,
Navjot Singh Sidhu and Harsha Bhogle.
There was only one Indian and one Zimbabwean in his team – Zaheer
Khan and Grant Flower – who scored 295 and 232 points respectively
for him.
The new version of Super Selector has introduced the concept
of Mini Super Selector whereby in addition to selecting their
favourite cricket teams, the participants can now opt to select
only the top three players -- best batsman, best bowler and best
wicketkeeper for the month.
The winner of The Mini Super Selector game for December
is Kunal Rai from Varansi for his selection comprising Jacques Kallis
(777 points) as Batsman of the month, Shaun Pollock (807 points)
as Bowler of the month and Mark Boucher (393 points) as Wicketkeeper
of the month. Kunal won a motorbike.
