South Korean President Roh Moo-Hyun on CNN's 'The Korean Divide'

This weekend, CNN’s Senior Asia Correspondent Mike Chinoy will host a half-hour special The Korean Divide providing an in-depth look at the nuclear crisis on the Korean peninsula..

 

In the programme Chinoy will conduct an exclusive interview with South Korean President elect Roh Moo-hyun in Seoul. In his first international TV interview, Roh will discuss his views on the North Korean nuclear standoff, South Korea’s troubled relations with the United States, and other key issues.

Chinoy and CNN’s Seoul correspondent Sohn Jie-Ae will also explore the complex political dynamic between North and South Korea, and the changing political trends, including a sharp rise in anti-American feeling, in South Korea that contributed to Roh’s election victory in December.

The show airs on 25 January at 5 pm with a repeat on 26 Janaury at 7 pm.
