This week BBC World's film based programme Talking Movies reviews The Hours. Earlier today the film picked up Golden Globe awards for the Best Motion Picture Drama and Best Actress. Show host Tom Brook speaks to the dynamic threesome of Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep as well as to the director Stephen Daldry. All three women are linked in one way or another to novelist Virginia Woolf.

Also correspondent Manoush Zomorodi reports on the new comedy A Guy Thing with Jason Lee who has in the past been seen in supporting roles. Brook looks at how controversial rap artiste Eminem made the crossover to the mainstream with the hit film 8 Mile.
