Star Plus will telecast the ninth edition of the Asian Paints Annual Star Screen Awards this Saturday at 8.00 pm.

The awards function, to be held this Thursday, is anchored by Hollywood Bollywood lead Rahul Khanna along with former Miss India and Actress Diya Mirza and Mohabattein fame Preeti Jhangiani, the actress and model.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Oscar nominated Devdas has 22 nominations, followed by Ram Gopal Varma's Company and Rajkumar Santoshi's The Legend of Bhagat Singh. As for the contestants in the best actor award category, it's Shah Rukh Khan for Devdas versus Ajay Devgan for The Legend of Bhagat Singh.

The highlights of the evening, as the release claims, are performances by Urmila Matondkar, Bipasha Basu, Akshay Khanna, Sonu Nigam, Sharmita Shetty, Tusshar Kapoor, Esha Deol, Aishwarya Rai and Fardeen Khan.
