BBC World's Talking Movies this week will be on supporting
actors. Starting 19 January, the film review and magazine show will
feature some of the best supporting cast of Hollywood.
In tommorow's episode, Tom Brooks will review the post-college
comedy about three 30- somethings - Old School, while
Laura Metzger will talk to actors Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn
and Will Ferrell and director Todd Phillips.
Talking movies will also profile upcoming actor Jennifer
Garner from action fantasy drama Daredevil. Manoush Zomordi
will interview the thirty something costar of Ben Affleck and Colin
Farrell.
In the next installment, Tom Brooks will rendevouz with the former
rap star and an actor in Magic Johnson Brown Sugar - Queen
Latifah. The Oscar nominated actor will talk about the return of
movie musicals and her role in the Renee Zellweger and Catherine
Zeta-Jones starrer Chicago, in which she plays the Matron
"Mama Morton".
As the concluding feature of the week, Laura Metzger will overview
the Oscar Gold nominees for the best supporting actor and actress
categories. Besides Queen Latifah, Talking movies will also
feature other Oscar nominees Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Kathy
Bated, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Chris Cooper, Paul Newman, Ed harris,
John C. Reily and Christopher Walken.
