etc is all set to celebrate the birthday of dancing sensation Govinda by organising a dance competition and talent search for Govinda look-alikes. The show will telecast on etc on Saturday 20 December at 8.00 pm.

Divided in two halves, the first half will showcase the 'I want to be Govinda' children who will try to emulate the actor. The 10 kids will perform on songs from the films of Govinda and three top Govinda aspirators walk away with a prize.

The second half of the show will have the 'I am Govinda' kinds who dance, dress, walk, behave and talk like the actor. Dominic Mustin, Ramkumar and Vicky will enact a scene from a film of Govinda and perform a dance from his film. The best will be adjudged 'Govinda - Hero Number One'.

Since the programme highlights the ambition of the people to ape their favorite star; the judges of 'Govinda- Hero Number One' contest are the duplicates of stars like Dharmendra and Dilip Kumar. The belief here is that “who will understand their ambition better then the one who is also in love with the personality of their Bollywood idols.”
