Weekend at Zee Cinema is packed with Ram Gopal Varma fare. Zee Networks movie arm will be airing Darna Mana Hai and Road this weekend.

Boasting of an unusual treatment, a super-natural thriller - Darna Mana Hai will be telecast on 12 December at 9:00 pm. The movie comprises of six short stories, which a group of friends share during a camp trip. The star cast of the includes Sohail Khan, Antara Mali, Raghuveer Yadav, Saif Ali Khan, Boman Irani, Aftab Shivadasani, Isha Kopikkar, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Nana Patekar and Sameera Reddy. The directorial venture of Praawal Raman was aired on Zee during the Diwali season.

The next movie to be aired over the weekend is Road, which is scheduled to air on Sunday, 14 December at 5:00 pm. Starring Vivek Oberoi, Antara Mali and Manoj Bajpai, thriller Road has two lovers Vivek and Antara on a road journey stalked by a maniac criminal Babu (Manoj Bajpai). Manoj Bajpai puts in a memorable performance as Babu, who falls in love with Antara during the journey. Directed by Rajat Mukherjee, the movie had some good camerawork and music, but didn't quite prove to be a run away success. The movie was aired on the Zee's Hindi entertainment channel barely few months after its theatre release.
