Channel [V]'s Movie No: 1 for December is Rahul Bose-Kareena Kapoor starrer Chameli. Star's music arm will air an exclusive half an hour special about the movie on Thursday, 18 December at 9:30 pm.

Late director Anant Balani's dream project, the film has Kareena Kapoor playing the role of a prostitute, while Rahul Bose plays suave upper class banker.

While off beat cinema have often been the mainstay for Bose, Kapoor has graduated from sweet talking, bubbly girl next door conservative mindset. According to a company release, buzz is that the film might just earn Kapoor a National Award.

In an exclusive promotional tie up with Pritish Nandy Communications, to promote this film, [V] will get the audience behind the scenes and exclusive interviews with the star cast and crew of the film.

Scheduled to hit the silver screen soon, Chameli is a hard hitting film that revolves around two strangers who meet, while trying to run from the torrential monsoon rain in Mumbai. Seeking shelter under one small roof, these two characters find nothing in common to talk about. Soon the ice melts as the story progresses. The movie goes into a flashback which depicts the lives of both these characters.

Directed by Sudhir Mishra after sudden demise of Anant Balani, Chameli will have three songs composed by Sandesh Shandilya.
