ESPN Star Sports commentator Harsha Bhogle unplugs Indias
rising tennis star from Hyderabad Sania Mirza. Harsha Unplugged
airs today at 9 pm on Star Sports.
Mirza became the first Indian to win the girls doubles Wimbledon
title this year with her 13-year-old Russian partner Alisa Kleybanova.
The winner of 21 India Tennis Federation titles, Mirza aims at
breaking into the womens Top 50 in the next three years. However,
the goal set by her coach C G K Bhupathi is to prepare her to be
in the top 30 in a couple of years.
Sania paired with Leander Paes in the mixed doubles category at
the 2002 Asian Games, Busan, South Korea, and won a Bronze and also
visited the troubled state of Pakistan when she was barely 14 to
play her first ITF Juniors tournament in Islamabad.
