The new Ramanand Sagar serial Arzoo Hai Tu will be telecast on Sahara Manoranjan every Monday to Thursday at 8 pm, starting 11 August. A press release claims that Sahara will telecast the first-of-its-kind mega serial with top notch TV stars (Mohnish Bahl and Aman Verma) in a daily soap format as part of its endeavour to become the Number One entertainment channel.

Till date the Sagars have strictly been involved with programmes such as Ramayan and Shri Krishna. Earlier, while speaking to the indiantelevision.com team, Sagar Arts marketing director cum producer Prem Sagar had said: "The daily serial isn't just another soap. The effort is straight from the heart and the storyline has been treated very sensitively."

The release says that the dramatic love story and family drama, Arzoo Hai Tu has combined intrigue with such contemporary themes as family values, conflict of ideals, ambitions, aspiration, jealousies and hate. "All these issues have been knitted in a love drama, not seen till today. We are confident that all the ingredients are going to be household topics of discussions in days to come," adds Sagar.

Playing the pivotal roles in this serial are some very big names from the film and TV world -- the list includes Mohnish Bahl, Aman Verma, Mrinal Kulkarni, Lata Sabharwal with Uday Tikekar, Sheetal Thakkar and Suddha Shivpuri.

The serial is produced by Subhash Sagar and Prem Sagar and co-produced by Jyoti Sagar; Moti Sagar and Anand Sagar are the creative directors. Shankar, Ehsan and Loy have composed the title music.
