Zee English's celebrated crime boss series - Sopranos - which aired at 10:30 pm on Tuesdays, gives way to She Spies, a series about a trio of female ex-cons recruited to do undercover spy work from tonight.

Sopranos fans in India however can look forward to the Mafia boss's return on Zee English with an all-new season in June.

Speaking on the development, Ashvini Yardi, business head - Zee English and Zee MGM was quoted in an official release as saying, "The introduction of the new series is in continuing with the channel's initiative this year to introduce a fresh programming line-up and offer viewers cherry picked properties from the West which are the latest, the best and popular."

The series is an action comedy about a trio of female ex-cons recruited to do undercover spy work for the Feds.

High on technical details, it has all of Charlie's Angels, James Bond, Three Stooges, all rolled into one, according to the concept note provided by the channel.
